Partying…can Christians do that? |

The answer is YES! We can and we should. Jesus is our example and he certainly enjoyed gathering together with others for the purpose of loving them into God’s Kingdom. |

You may be thinking to yourself, “What do you mean when you say partying?” For far too long the world has attached drinking, carousing and the like to “Partying”. To this author, partying is an opportunity to get together with others for a time of fun and fellowship. What makes Partying With Purpose unique is that our purpose is to get to know our guests and their needs to become their friend and eventually earn the right to share our faith Jesus Christ. We have found that people don’t want to be considered your project. They want to be your friend. Partying is one way we get to know others in our neighborhood or in our field of influence. In America today we rarely take time or have opportunities to get to know those who live on either side of us, work at the same place, or even have children playing on the same athletic team. Partying encourages us to make opportunities to get to know others and celebrate our faith in Christ. |

Let me take this opportunity to encourage you to use Party With Purpose as a guide. Our greatest guide is the Holy Spirit, and if you ask, He will guide you (John 16:13), give you boldness (Acts 4:29), and help you with wonderfully creative ideas. |
